The apartment was tidy and had location so close to the centre. There were a microwave oven, central heating and an iron, plus lovely city views. There was a bathtub. Having breakfast in the bar was delightful. It was magnificent and incredible in that field.

We had a wonderful stay at a charming apartment in Kelso. The location was superb, with stunning views of the market square on one side and a serene park-cum-cemetery on the other. The apartment itself was tastefully decorated, cozy, and impeccably clean. It truly felt like a home away from home. The thoughtful welcome pack, complete with essentials and even treats for our dog, made us feel truly welcomed. The kitchen was well-equipped, allowing us to comfortably cook our meals. The large bedrooms, kitchen/diner, and lounge provided ample space for our family. Despite being situated on the first and second floor, the stairs were not a problem for our elderly relatives. We also appreciated the recommendation from our hostess for a special birthday meal at The Contented Vine, which turned out to be excellent. Additionally, the town of Kelso itself had everything we needed, including a charming cobblestone market and a variety of dining options. we highly recommend this gem of a Borders town and our stay at Abbey View.

We spent a few days exploring the Borders and found Kelso to be the perfect location. The apartment itself was beautifully presented, with two spacious bedrooms, a large kitchen/diner, and a lounge overlooking the Market Square. The two bathrooms were convenient for our elderly family members, and the stairs were not a problem. We felt right at home with the thoughtful touches like fresh flowers, a bottle of wine, and stocked fridge and pantry. The highlight of our stay was the Cobbles Gastro Pub & Brewery, where we enjoyed superb food and a fantastic selection of modern craft beers at reasonable prices.
Can recommend this hotel.
